Custom LED for Virtual Production x HyperPixel

Working in collaboration with the world’s leading LED manufacturers, VFX Companies, and SIRT, we’ve designed the ultimate LED panel exclusively for Virtual Production, PMP (Poor Man Process) and demanding on-camera applications.  Our new xHyperPixel panel (“by HyperPixel”) removes all camera shooting limitations seen on traditional LED displays, eliminating motion flicker, moiré, and other costly artifacts from your production.  This revolutionary product saves our customers considerable money in post-production and time taking LED Virtual Production to a whole new level.  Our latest product has been heavily tested and officially approved to work on ARRI and Sony cameras.  All our LED solutions for Virtual Production have been tested with content driven by Unreal Engine.

HyperPixel is APG’s custom LED engineering division, and works with world class LED manufacturers to create super-charged, highly engineered, speciality display solutions.  HyperPixel products are exclusively available from APG and APG’s authorized worldwide partners.

Our Partnership with SIRT

To develop the best solutions and products for virtual production, our partnership with SIRT (Screen Industries Research and Training Center) at Sheridan College has allowed us to test new technology in an active studio environment.  Integral to the development of our x HyperPixel LED displays, and allowing us to fully leverage our partnerships with leading VFX studios, this unique collaboration is enhancing the development of Virtual Production and Immersive environment studios around the world.

Giving back to our community is a core-value at APG, and we are proud to provide LED technology to SIRT to support the further development of their students, as they become the leaders of tomorrow in the virtual production world.  APG is a key strategic partner for SIRT’s newly launched Virtual Production Innovation Center.

You cannot understand on-camera LED unless you understand camera technology.  Working with both ARRI and Sony, providers of the latest and most in-demand cameras, APG has been able to test the performance of our x HyperPixel LED to achieve best results.  Working in harmony with the latest cameras APG engineers and technicians can manipulate both our LED displays and camera settings to ensure best results are produced first time.  With heavily tested workflows in real studio environments, APG can help make your virtual production a reality.

 

Experience Centers

Working with on-camera LED there is no way to better understand the right solution for your application than an in-person demo and camera test.  Our facilities in Toronto and Orlando provide experience centers with the latest LED videowalls, Brompton Processing, Unreal Engine and camera test environments for your project.  Our Technical team is there to help you every-step of the way.  Through our partnership with SIRT, we also have access to space at Pinewood Studios using our LED technology to assist in further development of your projects.
